Periodically, National Grid will provide activity updates for the neighbors of the Sag Harbor Former MGP Site.  This update will describe work that has been done since the completion of the Remedial Action Work.  This update will include upcoming work, and information about any work that may impact normal community activities.  The Archive section of this website will include all of the past Weekly Updates and the periodic submissions.

Update, October 2009

During the month of October, National Grid continued the coordination of the relocation of the overhead utilities along Bridge Street to their original location.  GEI Consultants, National Grid’s environmental consultant, collected water levels and performed groundwater sampling for the quarterly GW monitoring program.

Projected, November 2009

During the month of November, the utility companies will complete the relocation of the overhead utilities along Bridge Street to their original location. National Grid and AECOM, National Grid’s environmental consultant, will be meeting with the Sag Harbor Village Board to provide a status update of the site and discuss future anticipated work.
